Damascus - White Jasmine

Damascus is a watch shaped by place, memory, and ornament.

Its dial is defined by a guilloché engraving, a repeating geometric texture inspired by the Islamic architectural patterns found in the Umayyad Mosque of Damascus—one of the city’s most enduring historical landmarks. The pattern catches light softly across the surface, creating depth and movement that shifts throughout the day, much like stone and tile under changing sun.

At the center of the dial sits a mother-of-pearl inlay, chosen both for its quiet luminosity and its function. Twelve subtle petals radiate outward—one for each hour—borrowing a classical sector-watch technique and reinterpreting it through a more organic, ornamental lens. The result is a dial that remains legible while rewarding closer inspection.

The case carries its own symbolism. Each corner of the bezel is shaped with a gentle floral contour, a detail not found in conventional watch designs.
